Rotary Club of Steveston held their annual senior Christmas lunch at the Steveston Community Centre on Sunday December 16th.
A combined effort of Rotary volunteers and McMath Wildcats served a full turkey dinner to 160 guests in 8 minutes -- a new record!
Wildcats demonstrated wonderful hospitality to the guests and demonstrated their leadership abilities in taking charge of the welcoming, coat check, name tags and beverage service.
They all worked very well with Rotarians to expedite food service to guests and lead them in the Christmas Carol sing-along.
"We received many compliments on the 10 of you from both the Seniors and our Rotary Club members," says Susan Nielsen.

Most days, at a quarter to seven, only the occasional rustle of the school settling can be heard. On certain Fridays of the year, however, there is a remarkable change that overtakes the school. Interact mornings. They’re a beautiful, chaotic, energetic mess. While at times it can be piteously hard to crawl out of bed so early, at heart we all do cherish the time spent working with people who care about each other, the community, and the bigger picture.
