In the fall of 2010, the Artibonite Valley in Haiti experienced a cholera epidemic further highlighting the great need for safe water and basic sanitation in the area. Only 1 in 10 people have access to basic sanitation and over 3 million people in this one country don’t have safe water sources to use in their daily life.
This year, McMath’s students will come together to help build 141 latrines and 4 wells in Haiti as well as help fund a school in Burma. Together we can make a positive difference in the lives of others. Together we can make this world a better place for everyone.
